Hemp, Cannabis, and Delta 8 oh my! With a plethora of options on the market from CBD, to CBG, THC, and now the popular Delta 8, and on and on, it can get a little overwhelming. To say the least... And if you're new to it all, then it can be extremely overwhelming! But just know, it doesn't have to be.

Cannabis and hemp can help with anxiety and should help! Instead of creating it for those who are new to an over saturated market that's flooded with misinformation and information all the same. That's why us here at Ladies of Paradise want to break it down for you and take some of the pressure off. Because in all reality, it's important to know the difference! When you know the difference, and you know yourself/your body, then you can make an educated decision on what your body needs and what will help the most.

So let's get into it!

What is CBD?

CBD, which stands for cannabiderol, is a cannabinoid like THC except for CBD doesn't get you high. That's right, it doesn't have any of the psychoactive effects. CBD is legal in all 50 states and can be consumed in the form of flower, vaporizers, dabs, and edibles! But the most common uses are in the form of sublingual tinctures and topicals.

What is CBG?

Cannabigerol aka CBG is a cannabinoid like THC and CBD, but like CBD, cannabigerol is non-psychoactive and tends to have an even lower amount 'total THC'.

CBG has been said to give a more euphoric and uplifting effect where CBD has been said to be effect for anxiety and sleeping.

What is Delta 8?

Delta 8 is a minor cannabinoid that is found in both cannabis and hemp. Unlike its sister cannabinoid Delta 9, which is what gets you high in the cannabis plant, Delta 8 has mild euphoric effects. Because this minor cannabinoid can come from hemp plants, it is legal and can be found online and in headshops. Delta 8 does not have the same psychotropic effects, yet some people say they feel high from consuming Delta 8.

The more you know, the better experience you can have! So we hope this was educational for those new to CBG, CBD and Delta 8. And if you want to learn more check out our blogs:
